Welcome to our first post on Miata DIY tips and ramblings.
This is my second Miata and I still enjoy taking a ride in the country with the top down. My car is the closest thing to the British cars that I drove as a teenager. One advantage is that the reliability is several notches higher than my Triumph TR3 that needed regular maintenance on the electrical system.
I don’t know about you, but a newer Miata was not within my budget so I picked up a 1999 model that was in need of a little bit of work. Maybe new seat covers, a new top and a little bit of body work. (Not counting when the F-350 backed into the front end while I was enjoying some coffee at my local Starbucks. You wouldn’t believe the damage an F-350 bumper can cause. Thankfully, the driver left his telephone number.)
So, I will be sharing some of my own DIY tips as I upgrade my car and hope that others will stop by the website and leave their own tips. Or you can just ask questions.
If you want to see the video clips from my first project, replacing the Miata convertible top, just stop by Miata Stuff to check out the video clip of the day.
More is coming later.
Cheers,
Warren
